We are all going to rely upon healthcare at some point in our lives. Design and technology have an important role to play in meeting our individual needs and aspirations for high quality, long-term health.

This lecture explores the use of 3D computer-aided technologies together with design methods in creating better medical products and services. Applications in facial/body prosthetics, surgery, management of chronic conditions and adaptive sports are covered.
